Guest guest
On my tumour site, a guy who posts regularly there, and is the sweetest person, has been reported to the police by the pharmacist he goes to. They have told the police that he must be forging prescriptions for pain meds as they have been getting multiple scripts in his name constantly. Advice given to him by a district attorney who's wife is a sufferer of these tumours was to 1) obtain a list of all the medications made up by this pharmacy, 2) have his doctor write a letter on letterhead stating his illness and pain control and the times he has prescribed pain meds for this guy 3) take the above to the police station and file his own report against the pharmacy or an unknown. It has evolved that in all probability, someone working at the pharmacy is using his name to write and fill prescriptions under this guy's name, and he is being penalised for it. So it could be a point for those who feel the need, to have your pharmacist print up a list of the scripts they have filled for you, and keep a copy in your records in case you suspect something like this happening to you, or could happen to you.
