Hi,

I was wondering what do you use as a substitute for yogurt? I was going

to try soy yogurt but from reading the GFCF diet plans on the web, I

guess soy isn't a good substitute? My son eats such a limited diet and

his yogurt at lunch is one of his favorite things. I'm trying to slowly

get onboard with all this diet stuff but it's slow going. He's so

stubborn and just won't eat anything different...errgh

Marie- I can't wait to hear the replies. I swear this could have been

my post - we are going gfcf in January after our DAn appt and I was

thinking to myself on the way home from work today, " What the heck am I

going to give in place of yogurt? " and knowing I didn't want to

give him soy. He LOVES yogurt and this along with milk will be tougher

than the gluten based stuff! Looking forward to the replies.

What about using the 24 hour goats milk yogourt recommended for the SCD diet -

www.pecanbread the casein gets changed into something harmless. I am just

looking into this too but you may have to get a special yogourt maker - one

place that does this is Lucy's Kitchen Shop - google for #. We are really

worried about calcium since our son can't take calcium supps and has been CF for

6 months. Anyone know of which herb supplements are good for calcium and where

to get them?, we can't get enough brocoli and dark green veg into him.
