Guest guest
Anyone using this? Saw it on Amazon, reviews are good. Wondering if anyone here has any feedback.
Guest guest
The speech therapist in the video is actually my son's speech therapist. We live in Minnesota and she lives there too. Great video, volume one is good also. **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music. Guest guest
My 4 1/2 yo son still likes this video (it's rated to 36 mos) and it entertains him but he hasn't got any speech benefits out of it. In my experience most videos are entertaining but they have no theraputic or educational benefit (I have 4 children ages 4 1/2 - 11 and no one has learned much beyond inappropriate language from videos of any kind! Sorry!) I will say the brief sign language tutorial helped me since previously my only exposure to sign language of any type was illustrations in books. > > Anyone using this? Guest guest
We used it from the time my son was about 18 months and he LOVED it. He would try and imitate the sounds and always requested to watch it. We used the Baby Bumblebee DVDs as well, but for some reason he didn't like them as much as Baby Babble. I've even started to give the Baby Babble DVD out with baby shower gifts. > > Anyone using this? Saw it on Amazon, reviews are good. He also learned some signs from the video as well. My son took a while to mock the sounds and faces on the video but now he does it all of the time! Guest guest
I cant recommend this video enough! It really got my son's speech going, it was like that extra push that he needed to get going. I also noticed they have a new one out as well focusing on certain letters of the alphabet, so that would be good as a 2nd step, I would think. There have been some videos which have been highly beneficial for my son and this is definitely one of them. Another which got him understanding signs and putting everything together was the baby signs video from baby einstein. Guest guest
I wondered but went ahead and bought the first stage for my 3 yr old. She actually sits and watches! She has started saying some of the words and sounds... not constantly but I'm in HEAVEN!! We will be getting part 2 also. Darlene > > Anyone using this? Saw it on Amazon, reviews are good.
