Hello apraxia group

I just have to say that I am open to anything and everything that has worked

for your child and mine. If our duaghter ever speaks, I would feel as if I had

won the lttery. My biggest wish is for her to say " mama, I love you " .

Afterall keeping topics open for discussion, is how we found out about NACD.

Thanks Janice !!! You are a wealth of knowldege and support.

However, it can be quite cumbersome to read every detail or every intervention

ever tried, so I choose to read the topics I am interested in pursuing. I don't

think we need to censor topics. Let's just be sure to list the topics in the

subject line, so that people canread the ones in which they are interested.

My 2 cents.

Cincy,

I think you missed my point. I'm not againt discussing any

intervention, but people need to self regulate. I wouldn't mind a

periodic summary of what helped someone's child get better. I like

to know what else is available, but I don't need to hear every minor

detail 20-30 times a day. I don't think many people would be

interested in all my seizure disorder discussions even though that is

what caused my son's apraxia. There is a limit to what is

appropriate for a particular group. The therapy and IEP questions

should not be lost in the shuffle.

On most of my lists, people say what helped them and if others are

interested they usually join a group that discusses that intervention

in detail.
