Hey There you guys!

I've been having a bit of a problem with other mom's not feeding

Olivia regularly when she goes out for play dates with her friends

and between the two of you I've created a great solution!

From Pat, I remember you telling me that 's new back pack

is actually a camera case and from the great suggestion of

putting on a blank name tag and filling out snack times.

I got a very small camera case, it almost looks like it could be

for a cell phone too, it's quite small. I re-sewed the carrying

strap and fit it to go around Olivia's waist. I put the case

towards her back and it's not in her way at all. On the name tag I

wrote " I need to eat at ___ o'clock, please remind me. "

I'm a little worried about safety so I put it under her shirt so

that it won't catch on things.

I'm hoping that this will also work for field trips with the

school.

Thanks for the suggestions and inadvertantly solving a

concern/problem of mine!!

PS Jenn, it was great to meet you at the convention! You, Katy

and everyone else did a top notch job with everything!

What a GREAT idea!!!! Once our kids are about 7 or older, (Olivia

isn't there yet), they should start taking responsibility for eating

themselves, and I love the fanny pack idea (camera case....). And

when they start playing, they totally forget about eating!!! So the

note is a very simple reminder. What a great idea. I'm going to

use this one, too, because a lot of times at camps will

say " my backback was too far away and I didn't want to leave

everyone... " . Well, a tiny fanny pack would resolve that -- even if

all it had inside were ritz bits crackers with peanut butter....
