Guest guest
Marleen, I have had this happen often. Its almost like a meningitis pain, all the nerves in your body are sending pain signals to the brain. During these periods I can't walk or stand hardly at all, complete exhaustion. Sometimes my is accompanied by severe muscle spasms. My dr has given my percaset for these very bad days and they seem to help some. It usually is a herx, but I've been herxing for 6 years now off and on. Although the spaces between herxs is getting longer. Not every week anymore. Its like a thief in the night, you start to feel almost human, and maybe even make plans to meet someone, and WHAM, completely totally helpless, in pain and depressed big time. It has gotten so I don't ever make any plans because I would ALWAYS be letting people down because I wouldl get so sick. I am trying to get back to work now.....but this week I've been VERY sick and let everyone down. Noone understands it. I'm a realtor, and have a partner and she relied on me to help with some things when here 20 month old was in holloween parade today. I couldn't get out of bed/......she missed it....just called me crying and out of control. I feel like a complete loser...I let her down again. She tells me just to eat right and exercise and all this will go away.......if it was only that simple. Where do I go from here? I can't bear disappointing people anymore. Guest guest
Gail, Well just wanted to tell you that you made me happy. I just made an appointment with you doctor that you recommended. The nurses seemed very nice over the phone. I see Dr.Fein at the end of Nov. Wish me luck. Thank you for talking to me a couple of weeks ago. Thanks and I hope you feel better, Some people in this world are more understanding than others. Just remember that it's not you letting them down its the disease. Guest guest
Hi Gail, I understand how frustrated you feel about having to cancel plans. I've had to do the same thing... So far this year I have missed weddings, family gatherings, work functions and many other things I had planned. I had also planned to go back to work, only to get sicker again. IT STINKS, but it's part of the illness. I think all of us with Lyme have been in the same situation. But, you shouldn't feel guilty it's something you can't control. Stress like that only makes you feel worse. I can't tell you how to make people understand, I still haven't figured that out -- But when I do make plans I've learned to add the phrase " as long as I'm having a good day. If I'm not feeling good I can't go " . It's made it easier for me when I have to say no, I can't do something. Another person with Lyme has told me about a product called Nutra-Herx, and is very happy with the results. It's made out of the mineral molybdenum. I haven't bought that brand, but I bought solgar molybdenum at the health food store, and it seems to help. It's one of the less expensive supplements. It might be worth a try. I hope your feeling better soon! Sullivan PS I'm new to the mailing list, just got on a few days ago. Hi everyone!

Guest guest
: I'm SO HAPPY =) THAT YOU HAVE APPOINTMENT WITH DR. FEIN, AND I'M SO HAPPY THAT I MADE YOU HAPPY> I don't get to do that too much anymore....I know she will help you. Spend these weeks writing down all your symptoms, meds, and cycling etc. Its important to write it all down because we sometimes go off track .....wonder how that happens? Good Luck, God Bless, and write me back, Regards, Gail

Guest guest
HI LILIAN, I have had quite a few go in my spam box with links to click on, but not knowing the nature of them I have no option but to delete them, and I also had one go in there that should have gone elsewhere with a proble of delivering something with an attached file to download and open with instructions, but it got deleted, but take care on opening anything that you do not know as to whereb it has come from.If it has a message about unsubscribing they then know the email is still active. Guest guest
It wasn't the fact that it was spam Kathleen, and I would not go to any links or give any information. It was the content of the message that concerned me. What law are they talking about. Is it relevant to UK. Or is it just a load of rubbish. I just wondered if anyone else had heard anything about it. Lilian
Guest guest
I think it's spam and I think it's just a ruse to get you to order. Ignore and delete is my advice in Kent
Guest guest
Hi Lilian Good job you had your wits about you and did not click on any links. My Brother is in a home, and he keeps getting a phone call saying they want to put some money back into his account and wanting his card number, but he has told them that they can send a cheque to him, but they don't want to do that. I have told him strictly not to give his card number out, unless he is the one to make contact and know who it is he is giving money to, but it sounds like it is a con to get his card number. Guest guest
Hi Lilian, One way of looking out safely is to copy the link onto paper and enter it into a public library computer which will have very good security and not compromise your own computer. I have not seen anything like this. thyroid treatment From: lilian15@...Date: Thu, 11 Mar 2010 12:43:14 +0000Subject: Anyone know about this? I received a message - in my spam box. However I wonder if this is true or not. It could of course be one way of frightening people into buying their product (probably viagra or something like that). This is a copy of the message and I wonder whether it is meant for another country or what - or just a load of rubbish. As far as I know I do not have an account with them. They do not give their name just a link - which I will not click on for security reasons. I have not copied the link here.
