Guest guest
(No dumb questions!) PROMPT! is a type of speech therapy that has met success with children with apraxia. They use physical " cues " , like touching various parts of the face, jaw, etc. to help children develop the movement necessary for making particular sounds, which directly addresses the motor planning difficulty of speech for children with apraxia. You can read about it more at www.promptinstitute.com, where you can also email someone for referrals for SLP's who are trained in Prompt working in your area.
