MB12 does not get rid of metals....that is not its direct function although it does assist in the overall process. MB12 spray/shots/transdermal/sublingual help a broken methylation cycle which is part of the overall natural detox system. It is only one part of the whole picture. It is used when a person cannot convert regular B12, ingested via B12 supplements or via food, into methyl-B12 during the normal metabolic process. Not all people need methyl-B12...some need other forms like hydroxy-B12...it all depends on " how " an individual's methylation cycle is broken...and if they are " under-methylators " or " over-methylators " . Use of MB12 also has been found to need additional supplements like extra zinc, folinic or folic acid (though not tolerated by all kids, causing either hyper or spacey behaviors), along with others...a very holistic treatment approach. Here's a link to a diagram of the methylation cycle. It is very complex and tied into lots of other body functions - and lots of info via Google using " methylation cycle " and " methylation cycle Yasko " as keywords. I hesitate to go into more detail as I don't know how much it directly relates to any Apraxia/Dyspraxia discussions...although it does factor in to neurological behavior resulting from broken methylation/metabolic cycles. There are lab tests which help medical professionals know which form of B12 may be more suitable along with other deficits in the methylation cycle - no need to do self-help guessing at home...the medical professional would need these labs along with the unique patient history in order to have a clearer individual profile for the person in question. http://www.holistichealth.com/Diagrams.html (scroll to the bottom of the page and click on desired image) http://www.enzymestuff.com/methylation.htm http://www.pjonline.com/Editorial/19991023/articles/folicacid.html More MB12 and methylation function and additional supplement requirements info can be found via www.stankurtz.com (discussion forum mb12 valtrex/ ) www.drneubrander.com (also has a parents forum) www.holistichealth.com (Yasko) http://www.ch3nutrigenomics.com/ (Yasko) There are probably some audio/video/powerpoint presentations on these topics at www.danwebcast.com www.autismone.org
Guest guest
Very helpful. So is this why Stan's son is stuck with lifelong diet and spray as the metals remain? > > If this is so then what is MB12 spray doing...getting rid of metals > > and assisting the body in its own detox? > MB12 does not get rid of metals....that is not its direct function > although it does assist in the overall process. > > MB12 spray/shots/transdermal/sublingual help a broken methylation cycle > which is part of the overall natural detox system.
