Guest guest
Thanks for the update, Stacey! I have been combing thru my emails looking for an update. Suhad, If you are out there, I am praying really hard that Leanna pulls thru this! I hope you are doing as well as possible in this difficult time=) e, Chelsea's mom, Atypical Rett Syndrome (FKA nonspecific mito)
Guest guest
Dear , thanks for the update. OH, I wish there was a way to change things. We are going through a hard time this week, Leanna is in the hospital and is in critical condition, she has Leigh's disease and is not yet intibated. We want to know the opinion of someone who has had the experience of keeping her in the hospital or bringing her home, with a full time nurse (in a hospice type situation). We are very confused and would like the advice of someone who knows what we are going through. > > Thank you all for your support > > God bless you all > > Jasmin > > > >
Guest guest
your welcome, I wish that also. I know what it was like to lose Aspyn, I cant imagine having to go through it again, its times like this I just sit back and wonder why? It really isn't fair. Someone told me after Aspyn passed away that God wont give you more than you can handle, but I am beginning to think God might be overestimating things. Take care and please keep Leanna and Suhad in your prayers. Guest guest
I don't have the experience of this; but when my dad was dying from prostate cancer we had him at home with hospice coming in. The one thing that I liked about that was he was in his own room, with his own things and we would visit with him often. Read to him, I sang hymns to him. Even on the day that he was dying and I was singing to him I saw a tear roll down his cheek. I knew he knew it was me and recognized the song, but he just couldn't use his voice to express what he was thinking at that time. Talk to some one at hospice in the hospital so they can explain the process to you. It is a very difficult time for your family and I am sorry for the decision you need to be making now. Let Suhad and her husband know we are praying for them during this time. Guest guest
This is so horrible. Please let Suhad know that my thoughts are with her and her family. I also vote for hospice if your area has it. They really do ease the burden. We didn't have it in our area when we lost my dad, but my family would have definitely taken advantage of their services. Please keep us posted. ruth
