Have they been treated for yeast? I know you did SCD but I mean old

yeast? I am starting to think our initial gains were yeast reduction.

Actual yeast tretment brought more.

I did get one reply to this post asking if we treated for yeast even though on

SCD. Yes, we are currently treating for yeast with Nystatin. It has only been

two weeks and we are seeing good things with the yeast treatment. I know yeast

is a major issue for both my boys and know that clearing it up will help

tremendously. Don't know if Nystatin will be enough to do this but we are

starting with the most gentle prescription.

I am curious as to whether there are others doing NACD with children who are

not talking yet and how it has helped and what ways are they encouraged to

communicate.

I'm taking my 18 month old there in two weeks, so I hope they can

help the pre-verbal kids. My hope is that I can shave some years of

therapy off by starting early the right way. We'll see how it goes...
