Guest guest
Tachycardia seems to occur in a number of the children (and adults) affected by mitochondrial disease. Both of my girls have intermittent tachycardia. The challenge is to determine the type of tachycardia and how often it actually occurs. is also using an event recorder at this time because of a mix of tachycardia and severe bradycardia (which shouldn't happen because she has a cardiac pacemaker). The recorder she has is called a King of Hearts " autosense " . The unit detects arrhythmias and records without having to push a button. Makes it much easier for everyone.
