Guest guest Posted September 20, 2005 Report Share Posted September 20, 2005 Hi everyone, I don't post often, so you probably won't remember that I was freaked out after our last visit with our orthopedic doc because he was concerned about 's not walking yet (he was 19 months then). He mentioned x-raying his spine to make sure he didn't have dysplasia. Well, we saw our doc last Friday and the x-ray looks absolutely normal and he was thrilled over how good 's feet look. He said they have great dorsiflexion and they move freely from side to side. He said my consistency in having wear the brace every night is the reason he's doing so well. We don't need to go back until next April! I also posted a while back that is able to slip his feet out of the shoes. So they put pads in the shoes near the top and now his feet stay in, though I still have to check him when I go to bed and re-tie them to make sure his feet stay in place.
