Guest guest
May I please have the best piece possible that you know of for Dr. Ponseti? It has to be as short as possible but include as much detail as possible about his career, work, especially the club foot. I was waiting on to stabilize in the business before I make any demands on the agents. Unfortunately I am still not too close enough to any producers but I think I have a good shot. I will ask 's agents to connect me with the appropriate producers but I have to be able to sell the story. The agents and producers are extremely busy and rude so I have to have quick and strong presentation (e-mail first). And is still just a beginner so they are not too attached to him yet. I was hoping for him to hit on a few big jobs and then I can ask whatever I want to but looks like he is still a mama's boy and that's hurting him at the finale. We have a big one this afternoon - say a prayer and wish luck. He starts preschool next week so his behavior will change but how can I be sure that Dr. Ponseti can wait another year. Getting in the commercial's business is a way for me to get closer to the media and try to get Dr. Ponseti involved. It's just that I am working full time and can not compete too well with the mom's that are devoted to this. And 's attachment to me is not helping. It's not moving as fast as expected. But I think he has weight - he is in demand - so I am hoping the agents will be interested to listen to what we want to do. I am not a good sales person so any help will be appreciated. Guest guest
Thank you! got the job yesterday! PediaCare commercial - shoots Aug 30-31. They do have a back up so I hope for to behave and do good so that he is the one in the actual commercial. If it all goes well, he will have much more weight after the 31st and will be easier to talk to his agents! Hey, maybe he felt the need of urgency also! Guest guest
How did you get your child into advertising? We'd love to try that with our little guy since he's so agreeable and free with his smiles but have no idea where to start. I figure it is a great way to save for college! > Thank you! > > > > got the job yesterday! Guest guest
Thank you guys all for the support. is in a " veil " right now. Ah, that's such a tension. They have to decide to lift the veil on him. I guess anything can happen between now and the veil decision. Need a prayer! If you would like to get involved in the entertainment industry and the child is just below or about age 3, you'll need to get a few good pictures and create a collage. The collage is an arrangement on a 8/12-11 sheet of thicker paper. The collage will eventually have the data of the child and that of the agent. You can just get a few nice photos and send them with a letter describing the child to agents in the area. Then if the agents like the pictures, they call you and set up an interview with the child - talk or not. The want to see how the child reacts. Then a loooot of driving to calls. It's hard work and the mom's either work part time or do not work at all. There is also no guarantee. It could be just a lot of driving and nothing for a long while, or a lot of jobs. The turnaround is huge. enjoys it very much and having as a goal to help Dr. Ponseti keeps me going. As for saving for college, it's possible if you are dedicated for years and the child is very successful. Plus you should sign up for film maybe also. Then you have to be able to take off to a sight for days, weeks, months.... That's where the money is. I am just going for commercial and print for . That's not much but it's fun for and I get the media connection. Guest guest
A little boy down the street, he's probalby like 8 does commercials and movies. I'm not sure how they got in to it though. He always tells us how he was in the movie The Villiage (think it was a horror maybe) and shoprite commercials, etc. I'll have to find out how he got his start etc. Michele
