Study looks at how ADHD symptoms change with age

A study of teenagers with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder has tried

to predict which symptoms will continue through adulthood. Researchers found

that children who were hyperactive were less likely to have problems as

adults. Children who were forgetful and inattentive types were most likely

to continue to struggle with the disorder--especially if they also suffered

from depression, anxiety, or serious behavior problems in their preteen

years. (Los Angeles Times)
