I know that there are some other women here who are more qualified to answer this question with more details that would help you out more than my words will. In short-- does is CAUSE Apraxia? I believe that yes, the metal levels in a child will affect their systems and give them symptoms of things like mercury poisoning, Autism, Apraxia etc. Whether it actually CAUSES it or not, I cannot truly say, but I do believe that the child will show symptoms of many things when they are toxic. Will cleaning out his system solve the problem? I can't say that I believe that it will " solve the problem " , since Apraxia is a Motor planning disorder and involves more than just toxicity levels in a child (there are many variables, I believe) but will it HELP with the symptoms? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!! If your child is toxic and the metal levels are high-- you should absolutely get help in cleaning out his system, because his body will fail him in many ways if you do not. And yes-- it DOES help with the Apraxia symptoms-- as many moms here will attest to hope that helps-- I'm sure that someone else can be more " medical " in their explanations-- but hopefully this gives you a little thought to start off with Becky **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
