Guest guest
, I believe we were at the Dr H's at the same time but I didn't realize it at the time. I was sitting across from you in the waiting room. When we were leaving I saw running around I am happy to hear you had a great visit also. Re: WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO is 22 months. Guest guest
That's fabulous!!! Definitely a woo-hoo moment!! We had a similar thing happen over here. I know that the shoes and brace aren't supposed to be used for correction, but after Livie's relapse, her flexibility in her clubfoot was not as good as she had before. Dr. Ponseti prescribed the brace for 16 hours a day and we were militant about wearing it the full sixteen hours. Livie's foot is much more flexible now than when it first came out of the casts. I have told Dr. Ponseti in all seriousness that if he says she has to wear this brace until she's 16 then we'll make her do it! LOL Thanks for sharing your great news!! Guest guest
Hi , How are little Tommy's feet doing now? I haven't seen an update recently? Are you still going to Dr. H or do you go to Dr. P now, etc? Michele Collin's story at Http://www.geocities.com/chele323232
Guest guest
, Good to see you again. All I can say is those shoes do wonders when you keep them on..LOL.. Really though.. I can't say enough about the shoes. God knows I hate having to put him in them but thank goodness we did, and kept him in them. I really thought that would be 1 of the 5% to be corrected with some type of surgery. How is Tommy doing? & -------------- Original message -------------- Yeah and . I am so happy for you guys. Guest guest
Hi Michele, We are doing well. Our last visit was in May and Tommy's dorsiflexion had improved. We go back for our next check up on September 30. I am just waiting for him to walk. He cruises and climbs on everything but doesn't show must interest in walking on his own. My little girl non-CF didn't walk until 15 months and he is now 14 months so I am not worried. My goodness though what a difference in boys and girls. He gets into everything and climbs like a little monkey. He will push anything across the room to try to stand on it to reach things he shouldn't be touching. This is stuff Gianna never did. I can't turn my back on him for a moment. Two weeks ago he managed to slip through the railing on our steps and fall about 8 feet straight down to the bottom of the stairs. Not a scratch on him somehow...miracle. When are you going to see Dr. Ponseti? > Hi , How are little Tommy's feet doing now? I haven't seen an > update recently?
