I love this topic.. my co-worker and I were listing a bunch off

yesterday..

Last week I broke my toe and had to go in for x-rays.. I was told to

hop on the table. I was thinking to myself.. " What about the weight

limits? I'll break the table!! " Then I remembered the new me!

My son went off to college in Kansas earlier this month. When I got

back home from taking him I found my 17 year old daughter having a

tough time with the changes, and missing her brother.. She crawled

in my bed and it was so amazing.. to both fit.. to sleep without

crowding, to be able to stay on my side without invading her space..

When she went back to sleeping in her own room a few days later it

was because she felt safe & secure within herself.. not because I

crowded her out.

2 weeks ago I bought a size 18 pant.. Last February I bought my 1st

pair of jeans since I was in high school.. They were a size 32, I

could BARELY get them snapped & zipped, and when I was brave enough

to sit in them, I had to roll off the couch and fight my way to

standing to get them off. It was quite funny, and felt like quite an

accomplishment to even fit a pair of jeans.. Now, 11 months later I

am in a pair of 18's and still losing.. (I saved those 32's and

tried them on the other day!)

Flying home from Kansas.. to walk straight down the aisle of the

plane(not sideways to fit), not need an extension for the seatbelt..

to use the bathroom in the plane.. to sit in the seat without taking

over the next seat, or having my knees rammed in the back of the

seat in front of me.. I was loving it.. I notice the little things

and rejoice in them constantly..

And the chair at work.. wow.. my chair used to be so big.. I hated

people coming to my desk because my chair just overpowered the

space.. I got the new chair a couple months back.. a normal chair,

nothing special ordered, nothing that I would cringe at if someone

else sat in it.. just a chair..

And then there are booths.. to go out to eat and to have NO limits

as to where I sit.. so wonderful..

I sometimes wonder if this will ever stop.. If there will come a

time when I no longer notice all the little things.. all the

changes.. when being smaller will no longer feel so amazing..

I imagine there will come a time when I run out of people to share

all my 'magic moments' with..

Until then I will keep on being happy, and aware.. it keeps me on

track to keep losing, and never go back..

Cathy, I enjoyed your post. I was cracking up when

you talked about sitting at the booths in the

restaurant. I remember hating sitting at a booth

because when I did, my boobs would be sitting on the

table. It was so embarrassing. That does not happen

anymore and I am so happy. Its great when you think

about all this stuff and the other choices we have to

make. Don't ever forget your milestones. I still

have to chuckle when things happen because it takes me

back to a time when I would not have dared tried

something. We just continue to get stronger and

stronger through all of this.

Cathy, I enjoyed your post. I was cracking up when

Donna, good morning. I just wanted to stop and send

you this note to let you know that I think that you

are truly a caring person. I looked back and saw that

you responded to everyone's magic moments post and you

did not have to. You are truly an inspiring person

and I am so proud of your progress. Isn't life just

GREAT!

Great job ! My daughter has been losing weight and saving me

all her cloths. I can't wait to fit into even her largest item.

Cathy i loved your magic moments, i could relate to them ! Well Donna, to be honest with you, I have hardly taken

any pictures and particially it is due to the fact

that even at the size I am now, it is still hard to

believe. Also, I never liked to take pictures once I

gained wieght. I have taken a few and I will get them

or at least one on there. I took Robynn's pictures

because she asked me to because I know she wanted to

send some to (spelling)and also I told her that

she should put some on there and she agreed.

It will cost a total of $13,000 for the tummy tuck,

breast lift with inplants. The first dr. quoted me a

price of $20,500.00. He is very good and what he does

and that is why I went to him and considered him.

Then at the support group meeting a young lady told me

about this surgeon. She is in very high demand. I

got the appointment in December for February. It

probably won't be until April before I can actually

get a date because she books fast. I am hoping for a

late February or March date since I have the money in

hand to do this (sorry if I sound uppy because truly I

am not trying to be). Any, I will keep you posted. I

go on the 9th to see her and will post.

Based on the fees from the paperwork she sent me, it

is $11,000.00 the other $2,000.00 is probably for the

labs, post medication and use of operating room.

Usually standard fees if they have to do it at a

different location but I will let you know for sure.

have any befores because like I said, I did not take

pictures but was the taker of pictures.

Pam I always use to hate taking pictures so I understand. I just had to ask my son to take the resent one, and the old one was of a old snap shot. Even if you don't have an old one, let your husband take one of you now and after your pastic surgery. Thanks for the plastic surgery information, I may be talking to you about all this again when your done. I really want to check every thing out and be ready when I can do it.
