Guest guest
Hi Group! We saw the orthopedist today and got good news - 's foot looks great and we're going to nights only in the shoes!!! I expressed my concern about that maybe not being enough time as she sometimes kicks out of them at night, and the doc said it's find to put them on at other times, so I plan to put them on at naptime as well for a little while. I asked her doctor about the x-ray - why and what did she see. She told me she was looking to see that the ankle and foot bones were shaped more like and " L " and less like a straight line. I'm paraphrasing here, and not doing a good job She used hand motions and did a much better job of explaining this to me. She checked the foot manually as well, of course. She'll see her again in 3 months. She was extremely happy with her foot So, with being out of the shoes for most of the day, I feel like I'm bringing her home from the hospital again, you know? Strange. It felt different to stroll her out of the office and through the hospital and have no one ask me about her feet! I feel very hopeful and happy today, and just wanted to share with you all - your stories and pictures and postings have encouraged me so much. Thank you again! , Judith(3), (5 mos.
