Guest guest
Donna, I have quite a bit of experience with these shoes (I work a few hours a week at a friend's children's clothing store so that she can get some time with her own kids). They are very cute, soft, with super flexible soles. The quality seems to be good. We cannot keep them in stock, they are very popular. My son loves his. They have, however, had what I feel are some fairly big sizing issues. For one thing, they do not work for every foot. They run very wide, some styles wider than others (this was particularly a problem with the sandals). Also, the first batches we got were sized differently from what they are sending out now. They have adjusted all of the sizes down about 1 size so that they are now more true to size. I don't know how you'd check this when you are buying them over the internet, but the shoes in the white boxes run a size larger than the shoes in the red boxes (so a " white 3 " is the same as a " red 4 " ). The shoes are made in China and the company is run by a very friendly family in Seattle. $31 is a good price, we sell them for $30 in the store. I was told of some great companies. I especially liked the shoes by See Kai Run. They are available in some stores, but none near me. They are also available on several web stores. I have been holding off purchasing them until gets closer to needing shoes. I noticed when I was on their site today that there is a coupon code for purchasing shoes through DandelionBaby.com. They also happen to be the internet store with the lowest prices for these shoes. If any of you need/want See Kai Run shoes for your little ones, go to DandelionBaby.com, select your shoes, then at the checkout enter TMD as the code for 15% off your purchase! I was able to order a pair of quality shoes for my daughter for a total of $31, S+H included. That's the same price I would pay locally for Stride Rites or Nikes, but I cannot get them in a small enough size. It is possible that these will be too big as the smallest size is a 3 (6-9 months), but it is the closest thing I could find to fit her 10.5 cm feet! Guest guest
Naomi, Thanks for the information. Sizing may definitely be an issue, especially if the old size comes, because I'm concerned they may be too big anyway. 's feet are very wide, so that may actually be a good thing. I can't wait to get them and see. If they are too big I'll just wait for her to grow into them since they don't come smaller than I ordered. If they don't work I can always order the Preschoolians for her to wear until she grows. Guest guest
Donna, Have you checked out www.pedoodles.com. Kelsey has a pair of these and I LOVE them. They are so soft and she seems to be so comfortable in them. They are also less expensive than preschoolians. One of the other great things about them is the sizing because the shoe fits both of her feet well even with the size difference. Guest guest
I did check out pedoodles. They don't really come small enough in shoes made for walking. I think the smallest size in their walkers was 12-18 months. Makes sense, but unfortunately does not work for my 11 month old club foot baby. Maybe I'll contact the company and suggest smaller sizes be made available. The other one I checked out are Robeez. These are soft leather indoor shoes with suede soles (I think it's suede). They look great too. > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > A while back I requested the names of companies > > that sold infant > > > shoes that were high quality in small sizes for my > > daughter's > > little > > > feet. Guest guest
Naomi, Well, you were totally right about the sizing. I just got my order of See Kai Run shoes for and her foot is 1 " too small for them! I honestly thought they would fit based on my measurements. They did send the kind in the red box. Like I said, I ordered the smallest size. I'm really bummed because I was planning on saving them if they didn't fit, but it might take a long time for her foot to grow 1 " and I need shoes in the meantime. However, by the time I pay the return S+H and factor in the $6.00 S+H I paid to place the order, I would be spending $12 just to look at the shoes and see that they are too big. Sure wish there was a store in this area that sold quality, tiny and wide shoes, because if I have this sort of luck with all the shoes I try it could get really expensive. My next step is to pay $40+ for the Preschoolians, which I know I can get small enough. Just wanted you to know how I made out! Guest guest
Donna, You know the one brand of shoes I don't recall ever seeing discussed here is s. They sell them at Babies R Us and have adorable styles in small sizes, good quality, several styles w/ flexible uppers and soles and much cheaper. I seem to recall the most expensive ones being around $20. I will look there this afternoon if I can, I am supposed to be buying Sammy some new shoes today but not sure if I will make it there or not. > > Hi everyone, > > > > A while back I requested the names of companies that sold infant > > shoes that were high quality in small sizes for my daughter's > little > > feet. Guest guest
, I'll check that out next time I am near Toys R Us. I didn't know 's made shoes for walking/outdoor wear. currently wears 's fabric shoes, they are a size 3, but then her Markell's are a perfect fit size 1. What is that all about? I sent an email to Cause at See Kai Run requesting smaller sizes. I don't expect them to actually make them any smaller, but explained to her the situation and that her shoes are being talked about on a site that has many babies with tiny feet. All I could do was ask the question! Thanks! Guest guest
OH I bought the cutest little carter shoes at a baby sale - alas my dd's feet are too puffy and fat to fit them. Waaaaa!!! Anyway, I've looked for carters since then and couldn't find them. I'll check BRU! Thanks! Re: See Kai Run Shoes , I'll check that out next time I am near Toys R Us. Thanks! Guest guest
By the way, I went to BRU last night and didn't find what I was looking for. Their selection of 's shoes was quite limited compared to what I remember from the last time I was there. Maybe I was at a different BRU? Anyway, I have seen 's at JCPenney too. We have a 's outlet store near us so maybe I will check there. I never remember it being this hard to find size 4 shoes when Jenna was a baby. Maybe they just have more cute styles for girls? I think a lot of the boys styles (whatever brand) are just ugly, or maybe I am just picky! Oh and Donna, Sammy wears a size 1 Markells and a 4 in regular shoes. I guess if they weren't open toed he would wear a larger size but certainly not more than a 2. I don't know why the sizes differ so much. > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > > > A while back I requested the names of companies that sold > infant > > > > shoes that were high quality in small sizes for my daughter's > > > little > > > > feet.
