Guest guest
When is the synop-thing and how would one be allowed to attend it? s. Symposium Oct. 7-8 Is anyone planning to go to the symposium in October? I just think it would be really cool to go, just for fun, and maybe I would be able to meet Dr. Ponseti in person. That would just be awesome. And of course could meet some of you guys too. > > GlacierWe are going to Iowa on October 12th - anyone else going to > be there? > > > > Everett will need a new shoe by then, his toes are hanging off the > pair he's in now. Guest guest
Wow. At $400 bucks a pop you'll see me there the day pigs fly! haha s. Re: Symposium Oct. 7-8 ee, did you see 's post with the link to the flyer for the symposium? It is Oct. 7 & 8. I am trying to find out if parents want to attend (just for fun) if they would still have to pay the $400 registration fee. I guess I will email Joyce directly to try to find out. I will let you all know if I hear anything. Guest guest
, I will get the books from the bookfair out to you at the beginning of next week so you can deliver them during the symposium. Thanks again for doing this. Jenni --- McLaughlin wrote: > , > > I'm sure we'll be around the hospital at some point > during the symposium > since we live in Iowa City. Guest guest
, I'm sure we'll be around the hospital at some point during the symposium since we live in Iowa City. Many times, there is a segment for " long term follow ups " so the doctors in attendance can see older kids at various stages in and out of the FAB. In addition, I try to set up a dinner at a local restaurant for Friday and or Saturday evenings for those families from this group that come to town. wrote: > Is anyone planning to go to the symposium in October? Guest guest
I would love to hear Dr. Dobbs talk about this new Dobbs bar. wrote: Is anyone planning to go to the symposium in October? Guest guest
Hmmm, I don't know. I guess I could write to Joyce and see if Dr. Ponseti and/or Dr. Dietz wanted or Everett there for any reason but it kind of seems if they wanted my kids they'd tell me since our appt. is so close to the synopsis date. s. Re: Symposium Oct. 7-8 Hey ee, Pigs must be flying! Actually Joyce said that they would not charge me if I wanted to come to the symposium purely for my own educational information. I talked to Dr. Dobbs about going and he said that he thought it was a great idea and he now wants me to give a testimonial. If you are going to go to Iowa on the 12th (is that right?) could you swing it to come a few days early to go to the Symposium or make your appointment a few days earlier? It would be so great to finally meet you! > > > > GlacierWe are going to Iowa on October 12th - anyone else going to > > > be there? > > > > > > > > Everett will need a new shoe by then, his toes are hanging off the > > > pair he's in now. Guest guest
, I don't know if it is on the agenda for him to talk about the bar, but I will mention to him that people are interested and that he should plan to be asked about it. Are you going to the symposium? I emailed Joyce Roller, Dr. P's assistant, and she said I could come - no problem! > > > GlacierWe are going to Iowa on October 12th - anyone else going to > > be there? > > > > > > Everett will need a new shoe by then, his toes are hanging off the > > pair he's in now. Guest guest
Hmmm, I bet they would be happy to have you volunteer. Your kids should be the poster kids for surgical vs. non-surgical methods. I don't think Dr. Dobbs would have imposed on me if I hadn't volunteered, but since I brought it up, he was excited about me going and talking. allison > > > > > GlacierWe are going to Iowa on October 12th - anyone else > going to > > > > be there? > > > > > > > > > > Everett will need a new shoe by then, his toes are hanging off > the > > > > pair he's in now.
