Guest guest
Hi, , I replied to the email you sent to me directly before I realized you had also posted the questions to the group as well. But again, I resoundingly agree with everything Kori said. If ' feet aren't corrected, they aren't ready for the P/M's either. I see that you've sent pics to Kori. That'll help us to reassure you that his feet are corrected if they indeed are. It sounds like you're doing everything you know to do. We just want to make sure your doc is giving the best care possible. By the way, is very responsive to phone calls. We've had no problem interacting with him even though we're not in Iowa. And yes, does leave room for the feet to grow in the shoes. Lily's first pair lasted three months. Hang in there! The parents in this group are amazing. It will all work out. Guest guest
Well I'm chiming in a bit late here but better late than never I always say -- I did use a drill, worked like a charm! Took out the laces and drilled from the inside out, used about a 1/4 inch bit, and then cleaned up any rough edges with a utility knife. Made a hole about the size of my pinky about 1/4 " from the sole, just to the right of center. Was just big enough that I could see inside and see if his heel was down.
