This article truly indicates how vitally important it is for us to teach our

children how to keyboard. Via the keyboard, Mark's true intelligence radiates.

Verbally, he is getting better and his handwriting is getting better as well.

Both are so improved and he is pretty much NT...... in many ways.

But since both of those processes are difficult, he does tend to be a quieter

and a shyer individual (esp. on the phone or with strangers) and he also tends

to take shortcuts with his writing to minimize the process. Thus his written

work does not tend to reflect his capability.

BUT, with the keyboard, he is able to become articulate, brilliant and

insightful. With the keyboard, he can write stories and generate arguments and

ideas beyond his grade level. With the keyboard, he transitions to a different

realm of personality.

It is sooooo important that we teach our children keyboarding skills as young as

possible. It gives them back their real voice!
