a few months ago, naomi had this red lines around her calves - they

looked like she had on too tight of socks, but her legs didn't have

'dents' just these lines appearing on her skin. we took her to the

doctor and she prescribed a cream, which didn't help so we quit using

it. over a period of a few weeks the marks disappeared. and now, she

has them again. we now have two doctors stumped as to what it is. has

anyone had experience with this??

and thanks for all the responses i got re: toes curling in. i'm

worrying way less now.

My son has this too! I always thought it was due to the type of brace

he uses. I was thinking that maybe he was outgrowing the brace a

little or maybe due to the type/amount of activity with it on. My DS

uses Dr. Dobbs brace.

Thanks!

is this line in the same place that her socks rest?

grace gets the same thing every morning when i take

her socks and braces off.. it usually goes away some

time throughout the day or some times stays a few

days.. but she is in dr dobb's brace that has a

plastic shell that goes up the calf.. so i use long

socks that go up to her knees... also.. it could be

exzema (sp)... my neice has horrible case of it.. she

has patches all over the place..some days worse than

others and she has to use special RX cream from her

dr.. but her dr was able to diagnose it easily...

Aidan gets the same thing. I too thought it was from the socks so we got bigger

ones. The lines still appear. Not very often but from time to time I see one.

Isn't doesn't seem to hurt him at all and within a few days it goes away. I'm

clueless.

I have been told that it had to do with circulation common in

clubbed feet!!!
