I was just wanting to hear from anybody who currently sees Dr. Dobbs at Shriners. Will we still be able to recieve the new brace? Also, is the wait time usually bad at Shriners? Now, that being said, if you are applying to Shriners because of real financial need I would definitely recommend going to see him there. You should talk to his assistant there, her name is a, 872-8342 ext. 273, she will be able to help get you in better than just a regular scheduling person. As for the brace, I believe they are still using a slightly different version of the articulating bar there, but I am not sure. Someone else will probably jump in here and let you know. If you have questions about the different braces available just ask Dr. Dobbs the next time you see him or email at, mattdobbs@... We went to Shriner's because we live in KY so we don't have to deal with the insurance due to Dr. Dobbs wouldn't be in network and all that.
