Guest guest
it went ok at first.. i have accepted a new job at a different dealership... and i called DH and told him about the offer and asked what he thought.. he just said ok.. i even commented that he didn't sound like he cared and he again said ok... so i hung up and a few days later made the decision to accept the job.. so at dinner saturday night i brought up my excitement and he got really quiet and that " light switch " turned off.. i didn't realize it was the talk of the job till he told me last night.. said he didn't want me working elsewhere (we word at the same dealership right now.. that's where we met) i guess it's because he won't have the opportunity to see me every day like he does now.. and i am also not going to go home to him at night... and i think he is insecure about the change.. he even said things were suddenly changing and he felt like he was being left behind.. so i am back at square one with him.. he's got those second thoughts because of his insecurity... so a lot of reassurace is going to come in handy now... extra e-mails and extra little voice mails... but it was a great day before all that came about.. lol... we're still hanging in there... funny story about " his " daughter.. she came home from his house sunday.. the NASCAR race was on sunday evening.. i just had the tv on those music channels all day.. she climbed up on the couch and got the remote and started changing the channel.. and she was actually looking at each channel to see what was on... she got to the race adn stopped, put down the remote and grunted.. then crawled off to play.. i was appalled... i am a race fan but this is crazy!!! so i changed it back about 10 minutes later and she notice a few minutes after that that it was changed.. she pointed at me and started yelling and ranting and got the remote back and tried to find the race again and couldn't and got mad and handed me the remote and was just " yelling " .. so i put it back on the race and she grunted and crawled off again... i could not believe it... i was so shocked all i could do was sit there and stare at her... she's not going to visit him anymore!!! lol btw.. thank you for your concern... mommy to Grace 12-03-03 BCF Dobb's Brace 16/7 wrote: , how did everything go this weekend? Guest guest
Do you work at a car dealership? I thought it was interesting, if that is where you work. One of my very good friends works in the office at a car dealership, and she is seriously dating someone she works with. They are in seeing a therapist now to work through some of her boyfriend's insecurities as well. They are having a TON of success with that, but they have some other issues in addition to his insecurities. Don't you love how men can't just come out and tell you what is bothering them? My husband does that too and it drives me insane! Then if I don't know what he's thinking and I do the opposite of what he wants, he gets frustrated. And men say we're impossible! Good luck with everything! > , how did everything go this weekend? Guest guest
That is too funny about Grace and the car racing. It is funny how much they notice even when they are preoccupied with something else. Sammy loves his nursing time dearly, but if Jenna is near and acting crazy he can't even concentrate on nursing he just wants to watch her! Well, I wish the news about your DH was better, but it doesn't sound " bad " . Just sounds like one of those insecurity things, which he should be able to get past if he really wants to be with you and he is assured that you only want to be with him. How long have you guys been together anyway? I do hope that everything works out for you, I just hate it when silly things like lack of communication gets in the way of resolving things. Best wishes, > , how did everything go this weekend? Guest guest
allison.. we've been together for 3 1/2 years.. the most amazing of my life... and i know that it will work out however God wants it to.. i am just really hoping that God's way and my way are the same.. lol... i never really worried about grace and nursing.. she was too much the eater-hog to worry about some one else... lol.... eating always took first place to anything.. now i am lucky to get a bite in her... she's going through a REALLY picky and independent eating stage right now.. it started with teething and now it's just a power struggle i think.. i have put a stop to the struggle in the last week... if she doesn't want what i fix she gets down... or she only gets one yogart... she eventually realizes that i mean business and she is just plain hungry... so she eats.. i am hoping this stage passes quickly... although i am afraid that may not happen till she's moved out of the house.. !!! i am glad we go to dr dobb's in a few weeks... her left foot doesn't have quite the range of motion that the right foot does.. i still think it's ok but i am anxious to hear what he says.. i have really concentrated on the left foot more with her stretches... (she still hates them)... i am keeping my fingers crossed... mommy to Grace 12-03-03 BCF Dobb's Brace 16/ wrote: That is too funny about Grace and the car racing. Guest guest
you know.. i never really wanted kids and was very uncertain half the time i was pregnant... and i would have never thought i would enjoy all the little things about being a mommy... but when she was born and i looked at her i thought my heart was giong to break with pride and joy.. that was also the first time i saw my husband cry... and there are times that we stand in her room and watch her sleeping and both wonder how in the world we were able to make something so wonderful and special and perfect.. and i just can't fathom a parent that doesn't want their child or that could hurt their child... but i also read the news stories about an 18 month old that was found locked in a closet or whatever and before i had her that was horrible but now it just makes me cry everytime.. i think of it being her in that closet and it makes me almost physically ill... so having a child really does change a person... and i could never ever not want her... so let's have a milk toast to the special little ones in our lives... !!!! mommy to Grace 12-03-03 BCF Dobb's Brace 16/7 susan.shook@... wrote: Kids are sooo funny aren't they? love, lisa before i made you in the womb, i knew you... love God. --------------------------------- Discover Yahoo!
