Guest guest
, and all others who were asking, A couple of weeks ago we were talking about over the counter herbal medications you could take for the symptoms of menopause. I said I would get some information. Forgive me for taking so long, but the woman I really wanted to talk to about this was on vacation, so I had to wait. She is an " Herbalist " -- I think that is what you call them. She specifically deals with people who have chronic diseases-- especially those who can't take OR don't want to take traditional medications. This is what she recommended: Black Cohosh, Vitamin E and Progesterone Cream (AKA " Progest " -- made by Emerita). The black cohosh and the Progest Cream can be bought over the counter in a natural food store or store that sells herbal medications. She said you probably won't find it at Walmart. She also recommended 3 different books for anyone who wants to do further research. They are " Menopause without medicine " by Ojeda; " The truth about Menopause " and " What your Doctors don't tell you about Menopause " by Dr. Lee. I hope this information is helpful.
