Guest guest Posted November 23, 2001 Report Share Posted November 23, 2001 Hope everyone had a great & pain free Thanksgiving. Ate too much on this end but who didn't. Well, I was right in my hunch about a flare. Got up this a. m. & my nose, eyes & cheeks are swollen just like last year. Nose is more tingly than sore. At least I'm not in pain. My ears are okay. Rheumy just called & said to go back up to 60 of the pred. Also to call the eye guy since my vision is blurry & had some crusting today but no redness. Grrrr. She said since I am on high dose steroids we will look into other medications. Oh well, nothing I can do. It has been a busy week, but I did try to take it easy. The kids did help yesterday, my son, the Child of the Staniec family is great in the kitchen. I was able to sit for most of the stuff I did & everyone carried things to the table & the girls cleaned up while I visited with a friend from where I used to work who has come for the last 3 or 4 Thanksgivings. Today is our annual put up the tree & decorate the outside. My hubby does the outside while the inside falls to me usually. My daughter is off today so she will put up the tree. I will sit & seperate the branches & maybe help with the lights, I'm not sure, then I can unwrap ornaments & she will put them up. We did it this way last year. My oldest also said she & my grandson will come tomorrow & help. So at least there is help. If it gets done it get done, if not I've got a month.
