Guest guest
A friend of mine swears by one that comes in a box that you mix up from Whole Foods. Don't know the brand. Will check if you are interested. > > Does anyone know of a pizza crust gluten free that doesn't taste terrible??? > Jen > > >
Guest guest
If your child can tolerate dairy and yeast, then using Pamela's Products Pancake and Baking Mix to make a pizza crust is very, very, good. If you want the recipe, I can give it to you. Now that I can no longer use dairy and yeast, I've been using the Bob's Red Mill Cornbread Mix as a crust. I make half of the mix exactly as the instructions say (I use hemp milk, olive oil and egg replacer). It really is good as a pizza crust and my son likes it, but there is some sugar in it. > > > > Does anyone know of a pizza crust gluten free that doesn't taste > terrible??? > > Jen > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Kinnikick makes a good frozen pizza dough that is more of a bread texture. Super easy to make since all the work is done for you. All you have to do is defrost it, topic with your toppings and put it in the oven. Guest guest
I am not going to get the name right but there is a mix that comes in a brown and maroon paper bag/package. The brand (which I am going to get way wrong) is namaste or something like that. We used it a lot. The crust smelled great, tasted fair to okay, but the crust is hard as a rock. So, Grace would just lick the toppings off and leave the crust behind. Then we found Glutino brand. They have frozen pizza crusts that are pre-made. We found them in our health food store's frozen food section and sometimes I would find them at Fred Meyer. These were actually tasty. I'd make pizzas out of them or I'd slice them up and put Grace's butter and some garlic on them for an alternative to breadsticks. Hope that helps Kris The Knitting Wannabe http://knittingwannabe.typepad.com Sonny & Shear: The I’ve Got Ewe, Babe Yarn Shop http://www.sonnyandshear.com On Jan 26, 2008, at 11:56 PM, bscmommy wrote: > A friend of mine swears by one that comes in a box that you mix up > from Whole Foods.
