Guest guest
Hi Heidi, Thank you for the phone message you had left for me. I was really touched by your concern. I'm sorry I did not respond earlier but I just had my computer replaced. Although I live in the city, I was actually at my parent's house in New Jersey. I was there on Sunday to get a ride up to Boston to see Dr. Trentham for a Monday appointment. However, I had to cancel the appointment because my brother could not give me a ride. Well, as I got ready to head back into the city on Tuesday morning, I saw the whole thing transpire on tv. It's been a little crazy for me. As soon as I got back into the city, I went right back to my parents because there was a bomb threat on the Empire State building which I live on the same block. But that turned out to be a hoax so I'm here and I have a friend staying with me for a little while because she is not allowed to go back to her apartment. The whole experience has been traumatic for me although I was not directly affected by the loss. However, some of my friends have been and I couldn't possibly imagine what they are going through. It's kind of scary to know that had I not had the doctor's appointment, I would have been down there at that time because I stay at my boyfriend's most of the time. He lives four blocks away and I actually take the subway from his place on Cortlandt Street station which is in the World Trade. He lives so close that his brother actually witness people jumping out of the building. I listened in horror as he was recounting the story to me. My boyfriend and his brother are back in their apartment after cleaning the soot and ashes that covered everything. Anyway, I'm sorry to go on ceaselessly like this. Thank you and take care, Sunny Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
