Hi All,

Our family doc finally picked someone for my Dad to go see. I called right away, all excited...finally moving forward. The receptionist told me to count on an hour long appointment sometime in January. I laughed because I thought it would be better than screaming or crying. Then she tried to talk me into seeing someone else in the practice. To make a long story short, after I told her Dad's diagnosis she called the doc I wanted him to see. It must be an interesting problem because we have an appointment on the 18th of September. Today Dad is coughing a lot more and bringing up more mucous, but no color to it so we aren't going to add an antibiotic just yet. I am concerned because he is starting the coughing while on the Prednisone. Guess we will see where we go from here.
