We have been audited before matter of fact when they pick you sometimes in 3 years in a row. Everything turned out fine. I was told they just pick them at random. I don't know I remember being scare at first but it was nothing to it. Hey I have found the IRS are pretty easy to work with, at least so far. Just thought this might help you a bit. Love you girl Lu Our CPA thinks the audit was caused by the fact that we let a rental house sit unoccupied for over a year. They seem to think we let one of our kids live there rent free. Well, we DIDN'T, but darn it, it's OUR house and I should think we could let someone live there if we wanted to. Anyway, we just didn't rent it because we're old and tired. LOL We've since sold the house, but this audit has me frustrated. Kind of like when you see a cop you automatically slow down even though you're not going over the speed limit, you know?
