Guest guest
I mix the fish oils into whatever will work. I tried giving it to him straight - no go. So I started mixing into his milk - that got old for Josh after awhile. Then I mixed it into applesauce - that got old after awhile. I've been putting in his bowl with oatmeal in the a.m., or on his plate with whatever he eats for breakfast. I honestly don't think he's getting all of the fish oil but I don't think it's very much that he is missing and it's much better than none. I've been giving him fish oils for about 5, almost 6 years now and it just changes over time what works. Best suggestion, just experiment and improvise! Guest guest
We have been mixing one capsule off NN Complete Omega 3-6-9 and one capsule of Twinlabs Super-E complex in about 1/3 cup of either vanilla ice cream or the excellent lemon sorbet they carry at trader joes. On evenings that we miss, I try to get a couple of gummy omegaliscious jellies into them in the morning. Both our HF Autistic son and neurotypical daughter get these just about every day. They seem to like them quite a bit. " Who wants lemon ice cream? " " I DO! I DO " . So far we have not yet begun experimenting with higher omega doses for our son. We have started on some of the biomedical testing, but still have much ahead of us. -jimk PS The coromega paste mixes really well with vanilla ice cream, but I don't believe it only contains omega-3's. We do this every once in a while just to mix things up a bit. Drew Moss, CFP wrote: > > Can somebody tell me how they get the fish oil in their kids?
