Guest guest
We have recently seen great progress but it is tricky. My son talks now. Thing is it is not easily understood. After much intervention but most notably The Listening Program and a new probiotic that addresses the end of the bowel his articulation ability of certain words is unreal. He never said Ms much and now " Mine " is a staple. He says it in context (and often when fighting with his sister). He says No which he never could say before. He used to say Ousside but now it is clearly Outside. Still, there is so much that sounds like one word that is really one big sentence. I know he is a gut kid and wondered if gut has been shown to be behind Dysarthria? I find myself still questioning stroke in infancy and then there is the question of the liver. Anyone know if these things could cause this speech. We have had gains before that we lost and I just want to think this out and not lose these.
