Good luck with your surgery Maddie! I was also " worked on " by Doctor

Poor, and I can tell you that it is a good choice. He is very good

at what he does and will make you feel great (same for O'). I

had paletal expansion surgery, for which there is no need for a class

or overnight stay. I had my surgery on August 27th and was back at

the gym 12 days after surgery (though very light). Serious swelling

lasted a couple of days, and I had little swelling that was mostly

gone in a week, with no bruising. I currently eat most food with

ease and am back to putting on the weight I lost in that two week

time. I am looking forward to have my gap closed completly by

december and removing the Expander by feb (if all goes well).

The only thing that is a bit unerving is the fact that a resident

(probebly doctor wang) will do half the surgery. He is under the

supervision of the great doctors, but I did have more swelling and

bleeding from the side he operated.

All in all, knowing now what I do, I would do it all over again.

you'll be fine, just enjoy the eating while you can, it will remain

an issue for a while after your proceedure.
