I came across this very handy explanation of children's Medicare

eligibility while I was Googling hypotonia. The site is about cerebral

palsy, but the benefits are for all 'disabled' kids--and I did read on

apraxia-kids.org about a woman who got Medicare benefits for her

apraxic child.
