Candi, at least sharing, we're learning. I was so glad to hear someone else

in this great big world had the sweet compulsion. And I really hate to say

it, but I don't have any Doritos, but I think I can taste them. I guess

each time we turn something down like that, we become stronger.\

Thanks

for

fessing about the Baklava. For me it was red cabbage, mashed potatoes

and

cheese cake.

I for one am glad the Holiday food thing, Thanksgiving and Christmas are

behind us now. I believe they could sew my mouth together during these

times and

I would still manage a " sneak " some something through my ..... ummmm

nose

maybe?? LOL ... you know what I mean. I'd surely find a way to

" taste " .

Just came back from a near two hour walk ... let me know how your

is going Joan ... am having trouble getting back on track.

Hey I didn't think of it like that!!!!

Has everyone noticed they almost instinctively have started to look at

everything they put in their mouths with fresh eyes? I just see fat in

everything these days. even the stuff I buy for my husband I look at and

think " He really should at least eat the baked Doritos and not the fried

ones " . So far he doesn't seem to mind.

Re: Good things must come in threes...

Hmm.. 4 Doritos is much better then a BAG of them!!!

I ate 2 Pringles the other day... I did tiny bites and let them dissolve

on my tongue. It was yummy and my taste for them was satisfied!

Your eating like a thin person!!

Ok I have to fess up as well. I ate 4 baked Doritos the other day.

What

was weird was that I never even liked Doritos. But I bought the baked

for my hubby who loves them and he tried one and said " These are better

than

regular Doritos " . So I tasted just a tiny bite thinking I would not

like

them. Boy that was an error. But I won't eat anymore. But I did feel

guilty after I did eat the 4 of them that day.

Candi

Candi,

I just don't feel that eating four baked doritoes was a bad thing

at

all. It could serve as a snack. I wouldn't want to eat them all the time

but I

really don't see the harm. If we don't treat ourselves some of the time

to a

little bit of something it would make us a little bit nuts don't ya

think? God

Well I still felt horrible afterwards. I agree with you though and had

there been a spec of protein in them I would not feel as bad. I never eat

anything that is just carbs. Oh well once in 3 1/2 months isn't so bad.

Got right back on the next day so it was really no biggie.

Oh I always have had a sweet tooth. Until I became a diabetic. Now I still

do but I eat sugar free things. Some are better than others.

But my big temptations are carbs...bread in particular.

The only thing I wanted at Christmas Dinner that I resisted was a slice of

dark Rye. I almost thought about having a piece but I just said " NO!...this

is head hunger and not real hunger " " you need to get to the

protein " ......now why didn't I do that with the dorito's???!!!!!

" now why didn't I do that with the dorito's???!!!!! " Candi, you didn't

resist the head hunger because you're human and we don't always do what is

good for us.....and I certainly don't consider 4 Doritos a big problem.

Like you said earlier though, put it behind you.
