I'm sorry that this support group has not been helpful for you, but

for many many other people, this support group has been successful

in that it did exactly what it created to do: provide support.

One of the hardest things about having this condition is the

isolation one feels. To stand out, and have the feeling that you

are the only person who seems to have to deal with this. By

providing a public forum and a place to get together and discuss our

mutual problem, it takes away much of that isolation and allows us

to pool our resources and work together to find a solution or

solutions to treat our condition. I think almost all of the people

who still frequent the group have not found *THE* cure yet, but I

think we all recognize what a valuable resource this support group

yet.

I am confident that sooner or later we will come upon the solution

to our problem. We have already progressed so far in just a few

years of the existence of this group. I have been around since 1999

when the group was a mailing list on E-Scribe, and we knew so much

less about the actual condition than we do now. A large degree of

the progress we have made can directly be attributed to one Dr.

Nase. In a time when there were so few medically-knowledgable

people focusing on our problem, here came folks like Dr.Nase and

Dr.Sy who investing an immense amount of time conducting research,

asking questions, visiting doctors and testing treatments. For

that service I hold a great amount of gratitude for him. While he

may not have helped *YOUR* condition to your own satisfaction, he

has probably helped countless others in treating their condition who

have the pleasure of never needing to return to this support group

anymore.

Again, if you feel like this board doesn't fill your needs, or

doesn't hold any value for you, then you are free too _leave_.

Nobody is forcing you to come here and you are under no obligation

to stay. If this group is so useless to you, why do you come?

But if you ever feel like you need some people to talk to about

rosacea and would like to learn more about how people are treating

it and new possible discoveries, then feel free to come around

anytime, because this group is open to all.

Is Curves cheaper than a " regular " gym, then? I didn't know that.

There's one near me that just opened up in the last year, and I've

been thinking of checking it out, but haven't gotten around to it

yet. What can you tell me about it (cost and/or anything else)?

Hi Simone. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in soon but I

would think that the milk thistle and magnesium won't interfere with the

carbimazole as much as support your overall health. The bugleweed is more

complicated but it can and has been done by members of this group.

I assume you're splitting your dose of carbimazole in at least 2.

You will start to feel better and have chosen a fine treatment. I'm

currently in remission for close to 2 years after 14 months on Tapazole

(an equivalent ATD), along with homeopathic thyroid for the first few

months.

Take care, Fay

Cut the squash in half length wise, lay face down is shallow glass baking

dish, pour in 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water, cover with plastic wrap and microwave on

high for about 10 min. Allow to cool a bit so you can handle it and just take

a fork and start raking the pulp out and it will amaze you how it comes out

in shreds like spaghetti. Then prepare your ground turkey with sauce and

enjoy. Hope this helps.
