melatonin and sleep

I have found that I get the best results from mixing small doses of medications together (with a doctor's advice, of course). For example, melatonin by itself did a similar thing to me. I have similar problems with Klonapin by itself. You might want to try combining the melatonin with a sleep aid or drowsy antidepressant.

I get similar benefits by combining ritalin and Prozac. They enable me to concentrate, and benefits with my mood with Tegratol and Prozac. Just an idea and my opinion. You can take it or leave it. I won't be offended.

I did a quick google last night, found one site that would have

scared the liver out of me a years ago, when I wasn't so confident as

I am now. But I also found a couple of sites concerning congenital

hypoT which indicated that if the infants/children's TSH was not

supressed, they were probably not getting enough medication. Those

sites looked better researched as well. I agree, nobody is above

making mistakes.

Hi

I think hockey is the only sport that they haven't played LOL...but they swim

either in our pool or ocean daily for hours...soccer practice hasn't started

again yet..but they would be outside at 7:00AM if I let them..don't think the

neighbors would appreciate it :)

They run, bike, scooter, play with their friends outside all day long...last

night I didn't give it to them and they were asking me for it still at 10:00PM.

I didn't give it to them to see what would happen and yes, they eventually fell

asleep..but I am thinking that they start to get over tired and can't get to

sleep and want to sleep...kind of like them asking for their fish pills?? Do you

think they know they feel differently when they take them ? I know other kids

that ask for their fish pills, too...not sure if any ask for melatonin....kathy
