Guest guest
My son is currently getting only 30 min per week of OT. She (the OT) would probably self-admit that she's not a sensory specialist. Does anyone have any experience with getting more specific sensory therapy through the schools? My son needs deep touch for calming, has some propioceptive issue (leans into students), uses too much force at times, etc. If there is too much stimilus for a prolonged period (45min+), he can get even have aggressive behavior. Also -- if this sounds like your child -- what therapies have worked best? Listening program? Thanks in advance for any input you have.
