Guest guest Posted October 23, 2003 Report Share Posted October 23, 2003 Heidi, So sorry to hear your vacation was so terribly interrupted. I am really sorry to hear you had such a severe attack. After our discussion about your state of burn out, I was hoping you wouldn't have to deal with the pain at the level of intensity you are having now. I have had three vacations ruined but fortunately I was able to get adequate medical treatment without having to travel mid-attack. I really feel for you girl. I can't imagine trying to fly and move around that much during an acute attack. I always feel like I am not going to make it through the hour drive to the hospital. I hope they keep you comfortable and you get back home soon. And I know that eventually you will get your pancreas whipped into shape and you will be able to take a vacation without worring the what- if's.
