anti-spasmodics for SOD spasms?

Ok gang, I was finally able to stop the spasms that were blocking

my bile duct late thursday night (after a week of agony). I am very

sore right now and am avoiding my oxycodone and darvocet for

fear of precipitating another 8day round of this. I am also limiting

my intake to liquids and soft food (bananas, pudding, ice cream,

etc). I am terrified of setting off another spasm and am

wondering if there are any medications that you use to either

prevent it from occuring or once it starts, to interrupt or ease the

spasm.

I still haven't heard from my new doctor, so am still dependent on

my own research for my treatment - which is why I am interested

in getting names of medications that may be helpful.
