Dear Friends,

My husband and I are leaving Friday to take our 11 grandson,

Austin, and one of his " buds " on a road trip hopefully designed to

please their age group and ours. We are traveling up to the

Outer Banks, visiting the museum (what pilot wouldn't

want to visit that?), then on up to HersheyPark, PA for a couple

days at the amusement park for Hersheys. Please say extra

prayers that I will be able to resist at Hershey's.....I may have to

get out the duct tape and tape my mouth......I am such a

chocolaholic it may be necessary to resist the temptation! And I

will have much idle time to lust for chocolate, because I don't do

roller coasters!!!!

Then we will continue on up to spend a few days with my Dad in

the Olympic Village of Lake Placid in the NY Adirondack

Mountains....my vision of God's country....I do so dearly love the

mountains, woods and water! On the return trip we'll be

spending a few days with my brother in the Blue Ridge Mtns. in

Virginia. The boys, both young and old, are looking forward to

our 10 day odessey and I feel much more comfortable about

another long road trip than last year when I was having such

terrible problems with my pancreas.

We'll have the laptop and I'll be checking in often, but don't worry

about not hearing from me during this time. I hope all will be

well with everyone and I'll catch up best I can when I return.

With hope and prayers,

Heidi

Heidi,

I hope your roadtrip goes well and that you have no problems

with the pancreas. As for the chocolate, I can't say much

as I'm a chocoholic too. Hersheys would be a very bad place

for me to go as I have absolutely no willpower with

chocolate. ;)

Let us know how your trip turns out.
