Guest guest
Where've I been? I delete alot, and read pretty fast, but I must've missed a bunch. I don't recall anything like this happening. Am I on the same list? I know conncoll has gotten a bit over-opinionated lately, but I haven't seen any of this on cfparents. Am I the only one who has no idea what is being referred to here? I've been up for 48+ hours, working on an impossible deadline. Maybe I'm just in a fog. Anyway, I am sorry that anyone feels the need to leave, but we all have to make those choices now and then. Guest guest
I am with your Lenora. No idea where this is coming from. I don't receive the emails as I access these messages through a website so I pick and choose what I want to read and I don't get inundated with emails. I have not a clue where this " propaganda " is coming from. I guess wartime makes others a little more sensitive. > Where've I been? > I delete alot, and read pretty fast, but I must've missed a bunch. I > don't recall anything like this happening. Guest guest
Don't feel left out! I'm the list owner and I don't even know what that post was about. Maybe wires got crossed over which list it was, or maybe she received a private email from someone and thought it was from cfparents? Maybe just offended by the whole subject? I have no idea. I know I don't have any political agenda here. I'm pretty sure Torsten doesn't spend hours on list maintenance just so he has someplace to wave political opinions. (Especially since he's holding his tongue about the war.) I can't speak for the other 600+ people on this list, though. I thought we were keeping it pretty civil. Perhaps war is too hot a topic for us to touch here. We are all about support, after all. No point in discussing our political differences. We are here because of the one thing that we all have in common, cystic fibrosis, not because of the many, many things we disagree on. ~ mommy of 3, 1 with cf > Where've I been? > I delete alot, and read pretty fast, but I must've missed a bunch. Guest guest
Ok, haven't we covered this? If you are posting political/war opinions please say so in the subject so those who don't care to read them can just delete them. I haven't posted my opinion and probably won't. I have not seen anything " threatening " here. I have read about people who are concerned with the situation because of loved ones who are part of their CF families are in the armed forces. Mostly they are torn between supporting them in their endeavors and being worried about them. That's about it. Maybe I missed something too. Can we just follow the above solution and get away from the complaints already? Re: ? " list " agenda? I am with your Lenora. No idea where this is coming from. Guest guest
---YES!! I agree I dont think anyone minds hearing from others whos family is away fighting to protect us and keep us safe. Its just when the talk starts getting heated and falling away from the HEART of the topic it gets alittle overwellming, (YA KNOW?) Like I said before lets either talk about it or not but lets stop talking about talking about it. I dont think any of us are here to offend each other right? well thats enough from me- and just know my thoughts and ******* are w/ all the men and women out there fighting for a better place for my family and every one elses out there! One more thing dureing Desert storm we did this hands across america, does any one know of one happening this war?- Thanks Kari In cfparents , M Law <maria_law@j...> wrote: > I have not seen anything that has offended me either but not much offends > me.
