Guest guest
Heidi, You right that there is no substitute for the Top5plus5. That is why the PAI calls the Top5plus5 our Library of Information. I think the PAI archives is an excellent resource to locate information from people who have " been there, done that, " because there is nothing better than hearing about someone''s experience with a situation I am facing before I enter into it. But the Top5plus5 provides the clinical and technical expertise that can only be found from professionals writing about these events. Mark's Top5plus5 provides a compilation of pancreatic information equal to none. Some people may not notice that on the PAI homepage at http://www.pancasoociation.org there is a link to " the Pancreatitis Association International Top5plus5 Library of Information " and on Mark's site it also references the relationship of " The Pancreatitis Association International Top5plus5 Library of Information " We have spent a lot of effort to compliment one another. It doesn't make any sense to duplicate services when Mark has already spent years compiling the latest research available. Additionally, when the PAI moved to Yahoo, it only made sense to accept Mark's invitation to merge the Chat Room Services. That is why you will notice that it says, " Welcome to the Pancreatitis Association International Top5plus5 Chat Room. " It was refreshing to find someone who wanted to work together than against each other. Pancreatitis is far too catastrophic to have that happen. Karyn E. , RN Exec.
