Guest guest
My follow-up appointment was yesterday and I just wanted to report that the labs that were taken when I was having my last psducocyst flare-up were: amylase 42, and lipase 30. This is the first confirmation of very low A & L readings since my pancreas burn-out. I have to go back in two weeks for yet another lab test, another CBC, an IGE and a GMP. I need to look up the last two tests to see what they actually are. My GI and Internal Medicine doctor is still trying to uncover the cause of my nightly horrendous night sweats. He's threatening now to admit me into the hospital overnight with an Endo and an Infectious Disease Specialist to get to the bottom of this, since it's been causing me so much sleep deprivation that I'm falling asleep anywhere and everywhere at the drop of a hat.....I even fell asleep in his examining room yesterday while waiting for him. That's really all my news. I've been having a bit of a rough few days with some pain, but nothing that my meds can't handle. I ran out of antioxidants last week and am waiting on my reorder, which should arrive today. My increase in pain seems to coincide with the failure to take the daily pancreatic antioxidants, so that strengthens my belief that they're working for me. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
