Hi,

I have just been through a very stressful month. Probably one of the most

stressful months I have even had with one of my children. But now thank

heavens, things are getting back to a more normal environment around here.

I never believed that stress had anything to do with my pain and

pancreatitis until now. Well my pain and nausea have been through the roof

and now I realize, it was because of all the warring I was doing. So

believe you me, when your under a lot of stress, you will definitely notice

that the pain is more intense and I also found that little things even

upset me more than they ever had before. This has been my personal

experience. I have also noticed that when I under a lot of stress I don't

sleep very well, and that doesn't help the pain either. I like my mind

races and I can't stop thinking about things. One night I went to bed at

11pm and was still wide awake at 5am. I just keep on thinking and the pain

would not go away no matter what I did. Some nights, like tonight, I wish I

could just turn off my mind, like you do with a light, and just sleep. I

know that this would just help the stress too.

Louie,

have you thought of asking your doctor for a sleep aid for those nights

that you just can't fall asleep? It might be something to look into. I

did after I had a bout of insomnia several days in a row.
