I want to make it clear that I do not and have never stated that I object to anyone discussing issues about the war that affects their lives, especially those with loved ones putting their lives on the line. I only object to discussing political opinions about the war. I have no problems with discussing peoples frustations over it and how it affects their lives. I just hate political discussions in which the only agenda is airing everyone's opinions. I feel the same way with the pro-life and pro-choice debate or peoples views on religion. I have nothing to gain from knowing that someone's opinions differ from mine on the subject. The core of what I don't like is I don't like people fighting and by bringing this up, I have started one. I just don't like the controversy that occurs when these type of subjects are discussed.
