Guest guest
Today I did the most forget thing. Forgot to organise the After School Care to pick the kids up. Its the first time they have been and I totally forgot to call her back to say yes pick them up today. So I am 1 hour away at work when at 1.30pm it pops into my head that I had forgotten. The cut of point we thought was 12pm. I phoned and couldn't get through, my mum was out, was with clients. I finally found another school mum to take them to her house. I have never ever done that, mind you they haven't been there before, my family members usually get them. Now I know I am getting old, Alzheimer's. Hope I am not the only one who has forgotten their kidsLoL.
Guest guest
Hey , They most likely weren't even aware & having so much fun......Anyway, it could have been a traffic problem --or car trouble , anything that could happen. Now , just make a contingency plan .You know--, the plan " A " ..then plan " B " , etc. Have all the phone number of all in pick-up team.....it will always be something ....that's the " joy " of all the chauffeuring we do /have done.... I do know how bad you feel like it was you , but all are well now ....let it ride & get their Plan " B " in line. It will never happen again when your prepared ----hahehe. Love ya gal .Isn't it tough to find out how human we are??? :):)That can happen to any of us .......and most likely has:) LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV forgetful Today I did the most forget thing. Guest guest
That is so funny. :-) I've done that when my kids went to mother's day out when they were younger. I went off shopping for the day and got " clock dyslexic " and didn't leave in time to get back to the church. Luckily a friend of mine picked them up for me. Guest guest
, I've done it. More than once. Let's call it FPS. Full Plate Syndrome. It strikes those who are juggling work, school, home, kids (sick or not), volunteering, and life in general. It happens to me when I actually get engrossed in one thing, which is rare. Usually I am fighting a list of things, thinking about several things at once or jumping from one to the other. Occasionally I get really caught up in something, like at work. Then, reality hits and I gasp, " IT'S WHAT TIME!?!?!? " Hope today is better. Lenora HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! >Today I did the most forget thing.
