Your post operative symptoms sound just like mine. In no time you will be increasing your food. It comes gradually and you will hardly notice it but then one day you will find that you are eating a whole meal. It just sneaks up on you. The pain you have will gradually go away also. I am impressed with your blood sugars. From reading your post where you explained your numbers for your bs I believe that you won't need insulin after a while. The islets have to get seeded well and then they really start to control your blood sugars. Don't worry I feel that you will be feeling great in no time. Just take it one day at a time and don't rush it. Didn't you say in a previous post that you were bleeding from your bowels? How is that and what was the problem? I hope that all is well with that problems now. Take care and be encouraged for the wonderful change that is about to happen in your life.
