Guest guest
Sally, The genetic testing will determine if he is a carrier or a patient and will identify the gene. You should actually have both kids tested and you and their father too. You know you and their father each have at least one CF gene mutation and your daughter has at least two mutations. Your son could have either gene from his parents or could have both and need to start treatments for CF. Testing is really simple. Amby Genetics will send you a kit to take to doctor to get the blood samples drawn. You can sent all 4 samples back to them together in the container they send. They even pay the shipping costs. www.ambrygenetics.com Good luck with both kids.
